Context and Task
Orakul Live is an online platform where people find an expert and get a consultation via chat, video, or voice call.
The client needed a service where a user quickly chooses a specialist and pays only for the time of the consultation, while an expert gets a working tool: a profile, rating, statistics, and withdrawal of funds.
The task: develop a platform for two audiences, clients and experts, with clear navigation and transparent payment.
What We Took into Account When Designing
The platform serves two roles, and each needs its own tools. We built four principles into the structure.
Trust in experts. Clients pay for a consultation with a stranger, so every expert goes through verification and moderation, and the profile shows a rating, likes, dislikes, reviews, and a video presentation.
Transparent payment. Consultations are paid by the minute with the internal currency “Oracles,” and the price is shown on the expert’s profile before the conversation starts.
Different roles. Clients and experts have separate personal accounts with different features and access levels.
Easy choice. The catalog and expert profile contain everything needed to decide: a description, price, rating, and action buttons.

Catalog and expert profile. The home page leads to a catalog of specialists. Each expert profile includes a description, video presentation, rating, likes and dislikes, reviews, consultation price, and contact buttons.
Three ways to communicate. The client chooses chat, video, or voice call and pays only for the actual consultation time.
Personal accounts. Clients manage their profile and balance. Experts track their rating and statistics, and top up and withdraw funds.
Blog. Useful articles attract an audience and showcase the expertise of the platform’s specialists.
Design. A modern, light interface with purple accents and a clear visual hierarchy, so users find key features right away.
Under the Hood
The web platform is built with React. Before an expert profile is published, the expert goes through verification and moderation, so only verified specialists appear in the catalog.
Account features depend on the user’s role and access level. Payments inside the platform are made in the internal currency “Oracles,” which can be topped up and withdrawn.
